INTRODUCTION
============
Welcome to Demented Dealer, a door game for Wildcat!(c). This
is a game where luck and strategy are needed to score big!
HOW TO PLAY
===========
After you see the opening screens, you will see the playing field
with nine (9) green boxes numbered from 1-9 with six (6) blue boxes
surrounding them. A card will be placed in each of the blue boxes
and your first card drawn will be shown on the bottom (in the red
box). The object here is to get as many three of a kinds (melds)
that you can with the nine cards in your hand. A meld is made when
you get a three of a kind with the card in the blue box and the two
cards in the green boxes that are attached to that blue box. For
example: If you have a King in the blue box closest to the Number
1 box and you put a King in both the number 1 and number 2 boxes, then
you have a meld. Note, three of the same cards, together in the
green boxes, without the same card in one of the blue boxes for that
row, does NOT constitue a meld. For example: If you have Aces in
boxes 1, 2, and 3 and no Ace in either blue box on that row, it is
NOT a meld.
Play continues until all nine cards have been played from your hand
or you select Quit. At the end of each round, you are shown the
statistics for that round - how many melds made and how much money
won for that round, and then play continues until all seven (7)
rounds are completed or you select Quit.
As stated above, there are seven rounds to this game with the value
for a meld changing with each round as follows:
Round 1 .................... $1,000
Round 2 .................... $5,000
Round 3 .................... $10,000
Round 4 .................... $50,000
Round 5 .................... $100,000
Round 6 .................... $500,000
Round 7 .................... $1,000,000
Also note that this deck of cards has only Hearts in it to make the
game a little bit easier. Enjoy!
